TAG trailer

Hi!

So. This is a good week for trailers, apparently!

There’s another one that came out. This one has an unusual premise: A real-life event that I’d actually heard about a few years ago. It’s a perpetual game of Tag among a small group of friends, that gets resumed every May.

The best trailer I could find was on Facebook, so here you go!

Enjoy!

Based on a true story (we’re not kidding). This summer, some traditions never get old. #TagMovie in theaters June 15.

Good news, everyone!

The actual Star Wars Story Trailer that the Trailer Trailer was trailering lived up to the hype of the Trailer Trailer!

…And after suffering through that sentence, you definitely deserve to see it.

Enjoy! (Now I just hope the MOVIE lives up to the trailers…)

Hi!

Star Wars strikes again! (Or strikes back? Or something.)

Once again, they released a trailer for a trailer.

And the Trailer Trailer is suddenly making me very interested in the movie they’re going to be doing the trailer for.

Enjoy!

A trailer trailer that practically “sins” itself…

Greetings, readers!

It may not come as a surprise to you that I enjoy the YouTube channel “cinemasins.” It is a channel that looks at popular movies and snarkily points out various mistakes, plot-holes, and other potentially questionable decisions.

Two aspects that Cinemasins frequently includes are the “repeated elements” sins, and the “Sins itself” sins. The first occur when there is a trope that is overused. (For example: “Dramatic Stares” to indicate significance of an event.) The second occurs when the movie itself points out potential sins.

Much to my amusement, the new Jurassic World movie has released a trailer preview that may count for both. It has a repeated element, and by merit of the preview being created by the movie’s creators, I personally think this is a case of the producers “sinning themselves.”

Here is the trailer.
