Hi!

A lot of the music I’ve been listening to recently is from one of the “Epic Trailer Music” composers. And it’s starting to pay off! For one of the new Netflix trailers (Death by Magic) I correctly identified the background music. (Casablanca, by TSFH.)

I also incorrectly identified the piece in the theatrical trailer for Aquaman. But I did identify that I knew it. (Turns out that it’s “None Shall Live” by TSFH.)

So, yep! That’s fun.

(And enjoy those pieces! They’re fun and epic, and worth looking up.)

Hi!

I realize it’s been out for about a week now, but I just saw the ComiCon trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie. And it looks like it could be fun! I especially like that there seems to be a throwback to some of the Hogwarts stuff. I miss that castle.

What are your thoughts?

It probably doesn’t come as a surprise to you that YouTube just recommended a trailer for me.

What I didn’t expect was for there to be a trailer… for a music video. Granted, it’s for a Lindsey Stirling thing. And she does good work.

It’s still a music video, though, and I’m not sure what I think about the existence of trailers for such things.

What do you think?

I just saw a trailer for a thing I needed to fact-check: A Live-Action remake of Disney’s Dumbo.

I seriously thought it was a prank. A well done prank, but a prank nonetheless.

But nope! It’s a real thing.

And the trailer looks interesting. (At the very least, it looks like they might still have “Pink Elephants”!)

So, yup! What are your thoughts?
