Puppy in a Race

Hiya, Fluffsters!

I’m not sure if you’ve seen this yet, but there’s apparently a dog that somehow or another accidentally ran a half-marathon.

I’m still not sure how this happens. I mean, did the person walking her dog also run? Did the dog just run away, and the human not call the pup back?

There are just so many questions.

Anyway, have a lovely day!

RIP Alan Rickman

Hi, Fluffsters.

I found out yesterday that Alan Rickman passed away.

For those of you who don’t know, he was a fantastic actor who played Professor Snape in the Harry Potter series. Before that, he was probably the best character in Galaxy Quest: Alexander Dane. (The alien.)

And he was just really good. After all, who else would you willingly watch make tea for seven minutes or so?

(Keep watching for at least four-and-a-half minutes. It starts to get interesting a bit before 4 minutes. Trust me on this.)

So, in honor of Alan Rickman this weekend, I’m planning on watching a movie he was in. How about you?

Purple Mountains

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, another picture for you today. I took it yesterday morning, when I looked over and the mountains legitimately were purple. I sometimes forget that happens in real life, not just song!

Pretty purple mountain

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So. Here’s a question for you. WHY IS IT SO DANG HARD TO GET TO BED WHEN YOU’RE EXHAUSTED?!

I mean, seriously. My brain’s all like “Hey! I’m tired! Let’s NOT go to bed!”

And I’m apparently like, “GREAT idea! After all, I need to get up early tomorrow, and so can be even MORE tired!”

I don’t get it.

And in terms of random information, this is the 990th post.

I should probably start doing something in honor of the 1000th post coming out soon…

So, yep. Check back. Ten days. Ish.

Have a lovely Thursday!

It’s beginning to look a bit like New Years… (Early.)

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but every year, in honor of New Year’s Day, Pasadena has a huge parade– the Tournament of Roses Parade.

Each year, there’s the Rose Court. They do random stuff.

And the new Court was chosen yesterday. So, yes. It’s starting to look a bit like New Year’s Day. In October.

Oh well.

Have a lovely Tuesday!

The Four Seasons

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, for those of you who don’t know, I’m currently in a place that doesn’t have conventional seasons.

However, I would claim that it does have seasons.

They are:

  1. Geese. The season of Geese starts around late August, early September.
  2. Geese and Rain. Geese and rain started early this year– in fact, it’s happening right now! I think it’s currently more in transition, and I expect more thorough Geese and Rain to start within the next month or two.
  3. Songbirds. Last year, this started around mid-February.
  4. Hot, Dry Inferno. This will hopefully hold off until July. It’s far more likely to transition from Songbirds into Hot, Dry Inferno around the end of May. But I can hope, right?

What about you, Fluffsters? Does your present location have some less conventional seasons?

Sometimes my dreams TOTALLY WEIRD ME OUT.

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, last night, I had a really weird dream.

To start off with, I was trying to look up “lace braids” on my phone’s image search. But somehow autocorrect turned the search term into “lizard braid”. And that somehow actually got some results, with a very pretty yellow chameleon. And then somehow that term turned into caramel lizard. And I was still just trying to find a lace braid picture, dangit!

I think I did finally search for the right term, but “Google had learned from what my desired results were” and so still gave me animal pictures.

There was a lovely image of a wolf, though. I wish I knew how to find it, because that is a lovely picture.

Yup. That was… weird.

In no small part because of… caramel lizards. I mean, seriously brain?!

Anyway, I hope you have a lovely Wednesday. Completely lizard-braid free.

Lunar Eclipse!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

As you’re probably aware (if you’re reading this the day this post is coming out) there was a lunar eclipse a couple nights ago. And unlike last time, I actually got to see it and take pictures!

(Most didn’t turn out that well, but I still got pictures of (part of) the event, so, yeah.)

Enjoy!

Very red-tinted moon due to lunar eclipse

The red tint is due to the shadow, I guess. 🙂

Almost normal moon with a bit of a shadow

The moon returned to normal when the eclipse was mostly over.

Fun new application of augmented reality stuff!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, I haven’t done anything with Pokemon. But I have heard of it. And apparently, there’s maybe something coming out sometime that will kindof combine element of real life with the game. And that sounds cool. And like something fluffy worth knowing about, and so that’s today’s post.

Yup.

Have a lovely Monday!

Minor thing that makes me feel happily rebellious 2

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Yesterday, I only listed one thing that makes me feel happily rebellious. Today, I’m giving you another.

This one is…

J-WALKING ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES WITH NO TRAFFIC LAWS.

As in, places that don’t actually have real traffic laws, per say, so it doesn’t cause any trouble, and it’s also not technically a problem. Even when there are official cross walks.

Yes, I may need to “get a life”.

Have a lovely Friday!
