MORE ducks!

Hi!

Sometimes when playing D&D, you need to figure out where characters are relative to each other.

In those cases, ducks can be helpful.

For example, in the case below, a few half-elves and a dragon-born were fighting about 4 dwarves.

Size the ducks for better fun.

And it means that when somebody avoids being attacked, you can yell “DUCK!”

Enjoy!

Here we see a dragon born, a few elves, and a few dark-dwarves.

Why have a watch DOG when you can have watch DUCKS?

Hi!

I’m currently at a place in my life where I go and visit dogs, rather than have my own. And I found a solution to the whole watch-dog thing. You can get watch ducks instead!

I actually got a picture of mine.

Have a great day!

Aren’t they awesome?

Question: Deadlines

Hi!

It occurs to me. Where even does the term “deadline” come from?

Did it exist before, or after the existence of phone lines? It seems like that could make sense as an origin story: Two people are on the phone, and they need to keep track of how long they had before the line went dead.

But if that’s so, what did they have before deadlines?

Any thoughts?

Have a lovely day!

I kinda now want to learn how to use a fountain pen…

Hi!

It turns out that Invisible Ink for fountain pens exists. And it’s apparently “bulletproof”? I’m not quite sure what that means.

Anyway, I’m now seriously considering investing in a fountain pen, so that I can have an excuse to get and use the ink…

What about you? Any fun hobbies recently?
