Greetings, readers!
Today’s post is a friendly public service reminder that the newest Pixar movie, Finding Dory, is now out in theaters.
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, that might be worthwhile.
Have a lovely Saturday.

I was recently informed of a website that will tell you how much of a particular food or drink you must consume before you will suffer a fatal caffeine overdose.
It is rather amusing, in a peculiar sort of way. You can find, for example, that it takes over 10,000 Hershey’s Kisses to cause a caffeine fatality for someone of average female weight.
It does only discuss foods that are known to have caffeine in them; you cannot, for instance, calculate how many bananas-worth of caffeine it would take to kill you.
I hope you have a reasonable Thursday.

For those of you who are fond of the Sherlock series, but who may have not spent as much time on Netflix as I have, I thought I would inform you that currently, the Sherlock New Year’s Special “Abominable Bride” is available for streaming.
Now, enjoy your Thursday.

I do not know how it took me an entire month to realize it, but The Piano Guys have a Jungle Book themed piece out. It is, naturally, worth listening to.
Enjoy.

Greetings, readers.
I have encountered a new problem on the Internet concerning terminology: People are getting confused between “Life hacks” and “DIYs”.
I am here to elaborate.
If you are making something yourself that you can purchase, such as a cat bed using hangers and a t-shirt, that is a Do It Yourself (DIY) project.
If you are doing something to make life easier, that does not end up as a final product that you could sell for money (such as heating towels in the dryer right before giving a dog a bath, to make the dogs less unhappy about the cleaning ritual), that is a life hack.
Thank you, and have a nice day.

The same people who did the “Classical Music ‘Mashup’” recently published a Disney Mashup. It is very lovely, and a bit tricky to identify all of them. Consider it a challenge for you Sunday afternoon.
Enjoy.

Following The Webmaster’s example from yesterday concerning Internet Phenomena You Might Want To Know About, there has been something of a controversy going on in the Marvel Universe of comics. An article (and video) at Nerdist explain it well. It is worth investigating, if you care.
Have a lovely weekend.

As you may recall, The Webmaster wrote a brief post on a bet that would be completely safe to accept.
Another one she did not mention is one that was (apparently) (surprisingly) common in your world a few years ago. There were apparently bets on whether or not the world was going to end in 2012.
That is, a bet pertaining to the world ending by (specific date) is a completely safe bet to take. If the world does not end, you can collect your winnings. If the world does end, they cannot collect their winnings.
Along those lines, it is also entirely safe to offer a bet about the world still existing by a specific date.
Have a lovely day.

Greetings, readers!
I read a rather remarkable article about a drone that was taken down by… a spear.
This happened in Russia.
I recommend looking at the article, and then watching the video at the top of the article’s page.
I am glad the person who lost their drone shared the footage.
