Hi!

So. Fluffy shared yesterday about the show Hamilton being converted to a Weird Al Polka.

Well, the original creator of Hamilton (who’s apparently a major fan of Weird Al) filmed himself listening to the polka for the first time. And the result is precious!

(The creator, Lin Manuel-Miranda, is on the right.)

Enjoy!

Greetings, readers!

As some of you may be aware, there is an extraordinarily popular musical called “Hamilton”.

Furthermore, the musician Weird Al just released a polka with lyrics from Hamilton.

It is quite remarkable, and clearly required a great deal of skill. (As a warning: It has a touch of unsavory language.)

Enjoy!

Internet Rabbit Trails are Interesting!

Hi!

Yesterday, I ended up on a rabbit trail. Background: I currently have a nice, little bag made of foam that is the perfect size for what I need. However, it’s also getting a bit older. So, I was wondering whether or not I could find the type of foam stuff used. (And if so, it would be cool to be able to use some pictures from recent sunsets!)

That led to trying to find patterns, since I’m not sure what type of material is actually used.

Looking for patterns led me to a different set of patterns.

Finally, I ended up on a blog about constructing pants patterns using painters’ tape.

Tangents are Fun!

Have a lovely Saturday!
