ANOTHER post from the Sister Site about Cast Iron

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello!

It seems as though the sister site is possessed by a cast-iron fanatic. At least for now. Whatever.

There’s a new post up about the cast iron skillet. This time, there’s an actual demonstration of it being used; The Student made an individual serving of “pull apart” skillet bread.

Anyway. Have a lovely Thursday!

Intriguing upcoming BBC show that looks droll

Greetings, readers!

I recently read an “Entertainment Weekly” article about an upcoming BBC television show: Dirk Gently. It apparently is based off of books written by the same author who wrote “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” The description is also fantastic looking, involving a corgi, and a gang of anarchist vampires.

I am not entirely sure what to make of this, but I believe it definitely qualifies as fluff.

Have a lovely Wednesday.

I’ve apparently been eating fake apples.

Hi!

So. Pink Lady Apples. Up until recently, I thought they were simply my favorite type of apple. And then, I found out that they … might not be what I thought. I ended up doing a google search for them at one point (I don’t remember why, don’t ask) and found out that there’s an entire website devoted to the things. And they’re apparently “So much more than an apple.”

As if that’s not enough, genuine Pink Ladies apparently have a seal of certification, in the form of a sticker.

I was a bit curious, and so I checked my apples. It turns out that whatever I’ve been having are fakes, which don’t have the seal of authenticity.

I guess I’ve been enjoying fake apples.

Crime never tasted so sweet, I guess…?

Anyway. Have a lovely Monday!

1 week Update on Pokemon Go: It’s still there.

Greetings, readers!

As you may recall, last week I briefly discussed “Pokemon Go.” I also mentioned that I expected the hype to start decreasing by today. I do not think it has happened. There has been enough news and enough interesting things pertaining to the game that it has been kept in the public’s eye for this week. I will continue to watch this phenomenon next week.

Have a lovely Sunday.

New Star Wars Spin-off Footage!

Hello!

I am somewhat excited. Yesterday, new footage of the spin-off Star Wars movie (Rogue One) was released. And it includes some behind the scenes stuff. It looks really cool. And it’s an interesting way to do a trailer.

So, enjoy! Happy Saturday!

Another absurd stuffed toy you could buy.

Hi there!

If yesterday’s post wasn’t enough about the absurdities available from Amazon, don’t worry! I’ve got you covered for today, too! For you see, you could buy a 4-foot tall stuffed monkey in a banana suit.

For only about $100.

How’s that for a great deal of weird?

A prank I’d TOTALLY want to pull if I had more money

Hi!

So, as you may be aware, yesterday was “Amazon Prime Day.” They were running a whole lot of interesting deals.

And they were providing the opportunity to go down all sorts of rabbit trails for totally unexpected weirdnesses that are available for Amazon Prime shipping. One thing I found would potentially make for a very entertaining prank, if it weren’t so expensive… As it is, I will not be getting anyone a 9-foot tall teddy bear and not sending a note.

And yes, it does exist. And actually, it might somewhat function as a couch… Hmmm, this has potential.

If any of you end up ordering one, do let me know how it turns out!

Unexpected Food Facts

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello!

I have had more time this summer to actually think about food. And that led me to an interesting discovery. It turns out that some types of lunch meats have less protein, and more carbs than… string cheese. (Per serving size.) Normally, I don’t actually care about such things. But that does provide an, ummm, *interesting* commentary about the “meat” involved. Especially since dairy is kinda supposed to go the other way from… meat. Meat’s supposed to be the pure protein. Not the milk-product.

So, yeah. I’m definitely a bit amused by that discovery.

Have a lovely day!
