Yes, in fact, I DO try to color coordinate nametags

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, my Church has started having people write up name-tags for service.

Last week, two people on leadership jokingly complimented me on having the same color nametag as shirt. I don’t think they realized that I fished through the bucket of pens to find the right purple pen. And that I’ve been doing something similar every week, since they’ve started having name-tags…

So, yes. I do in fact color coordinate my nametag to whatever it is that I’m wearing.

The bag was completely unintentional.

How about you? Do you coordinate in any way?

Two movies that shall not be named have left Netflix

Greetings, readers!

Today, I am very pleased to inform you that two movies that I officially deny the existence of are officially not on Netflix. If such movies were to have existed, they would have been based upon books. One of them would have been horrible because it followed its source material and thereby turned Vampires “romantic.” The other would have been horrible because it did not follow the book Ella Enchanted.

Now, when I visit Netflix, those two movies I deny are officially not there, and it pleases me.

I hope you have an excellent Friday.

New Sherlock Trailer

Greetings, readers!

Are you aware of the BBC show “Sherlock”? For those of you who are unaware, it is a BBC production of Sherlock Holms, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. Under normal circumstances, it is a modern-day retelling.

This Christmas, however, they are releasing a Christmas Special set in the Victorian Era.

Yesterday, the BBC released a new trailer for it.

It looks rather interesting. Enjoy.

New(ish) Piano Guys– Jurassic Park

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Apparently, The Piano Guys posted a new video about 4 months ago and I totally missed it. Woops.

Anyway. It’s a very nice, calming version of the Jurassic Park Theme.

Unfortunately, however, whenever I hear that tune, “Luke, I’m your Father” comes to mind, from this video:

Anyway, have a lovely Wednesday!

It’s beginning to look a bit like New Years… (Early.)

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but every year, in honor of New Year’s Day, Pasadena has a huge parade– the Tournament of Roses Parade.

Each year, there’s the Rose Court. They do random stuff.

And the new Court was chosen yesterday. So, yes. It’s starting to look a bit like New Year’s Day. In October.

Oh well.

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Doctor Who Hullabaloo

Greetings, readers!

I am not sure if you are aware, but a new season of Doctor Who has been coming out these past few weeks. (There are spoilers ahead– be warned.)

One of the things of note: Sonic Sunglasses.

Apparently, I am not the only one who is fairly taken aback by such a device. There is even an online petition to remove the Sonic Sunglasses, and to return to the Sonic Screwdriver.

Furthermore, Steven Moffat (one of the creators and directors) has responded with an explanation.

Even though it seems as though we are stuck with the sunglasses for now, I am pleased that there is a high probability of the Screwdriver coming back.

Have an excellent Monday.

Hotel I’m freaked out by

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Ummm. So. I just found out about an interesting French hotel. It has me totally weirded out. You see, it’s a hotel room in a glass bubble, so that you can enjoy nature in comfort.

The premise sounds nice.

BUT HOW DO THEY ENSURE PRIVACY?

Yeah…

Anyway. Happy Saturday!

The Four Seasons

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, for those of you who don’t know, I’m currently in a place that doesn’t have conventional seasons.

However, I would claim that it does have seasons.

They are:

  1. Geese. The season of Geese starts around late August, early September.
  2. Geese and Rain. Geese and rain started early this year– in fact, it’s happening right now! I think it’s currently more in transition, and I expect more thorough Geese and Rain to start within the next month or two.
  3. Songbirds. Last year, this started around mid-February.
  4. Hot, Dry Inferno. This will hopefully hold off until July. It’s far more likely to transition from Songbirds into Hot, Dry Inferno around the end of May. But I can hope, right?

What about you, Fluffsters? Does your present location have some less conventional seasons?
