Procrastination Device- Girl Genius

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

I know that this link has been shared on this blog previously, but it is well worth visiting. It is a webcomic called “Girl Genius.” It is a marvelous steampunk webcomic, with beautifully done artistic detail, and a well thought-out plot. It is also incredibly long, and will probably take you more than just today to read if you have never read it before. However, it is well worth it. Especially at least the first four years of comics- there is a set involving coffee that is brilliant, but only in context. And after that, there are multiple marvelous scenes even further on.

And after you read that far, I can practically guarantee that you will be hooked.

Have a great weekend!

Myst: The… TV SERIES?

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Thanks to a friend of mine, I encountered something rather bizarre. And cool. And “wait-what?”-ifying. (It’s like terrifying, but instead of terror, you’re filled with the “wait-what?” emotion.)

So, what is this craziness, you ask?

Wait, Fluffy didn’t respond to that obvious set up.

No. Saying “We did not ask” would have been too predictable. And I am curious as to what you are referring to.

…Ah. Cool. Well, here it is. It’s that somebody is working on making a Myst TV Series.

On the one hand, it’s a great setting for a movie. As demonstrated by this little thing.

(Seriously, how many of you wouldn’t want to play with a book like that? Think of all the cute things you could find!)

But on the other hand, I just don’t know how it’ll work. So, I’m not sure.

Your thoughts?

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, yesterday, I encountered one of the cutest advertisements ever. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it yet, but it’s a cat food commercial, and it apparently only very recently got uploaded to YouTube. So, you’re in luck! It’s new, and I’ve heard about it, so I’m sharing it with you!

I hope you enjoy!

Amazing Night

Hi, Fluffsters!

I had a super, wonderful, amazing evening last night. I went to the local swing club, and they had an “intermediate lesson” for Charleston.

For any of you who don’t know, Charleston is slightly different from swing. Completely different basic step. Lots bouncier. Highly energetic.Fun. Like, really fun.

One of the best parts was that it was basically an hour, practically nonstop, of dancing! (Usually only one girl was sitting out, which is an excellent ratio for a social dance.

So, yeah. Fun night. Charleston. You should try it.

Have a great Tuesday!

Pop Songs as Sonnets

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

Today, I encountered a marvelous thing on the internet. Somebody on Tumblr has started taking modern songs, and is putting them in the form of Shakespearean sonnets. There is one for “Let it Go” from Frozen, “Royals”, “Stayin’ Alive”, and many others. They are brilliantly done, and actually provide a bit of meaning for the songs.

I hope you enjoy them.

Invisibility Cloaks Exist- you could be invisible for some Halloween!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello, Fluffsters!

So, I found something really cool online. Apparently, there’s a new invisibility cloak thingy making the rounds. And apparently, you can now make a small one for supposedly about $100. You know what this means, right?

Military issues might become a little more pressing?

No! Well, maybe. But that wasn’t what I was going for. Nope, what I’m thinking is that maybe next year, you’ll be able to go as a cloaked Klingon Bird of Prey for Halloween! Or Romulan War Bird. And then randomly uncloak, to freak people out, or something.

I mean, seriously. How cool would that costume be?

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, The Student from the Cooking Blog Sister Website made what are being called “Masochist Cookies.” They’re very similar to the cookie recipe listed in my website’s recipe section, but this recipe actually has some instructions with it. And an ingredient list. So, yeah. Check it out. And careful if you try it. Or something.

And have a great Saturday!

An actually useful children’s toy

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

The other day, I encountered a rather remarkable toy for children that I thought was quite interesting. It is a toy car motor, designed to teach children basic car maintenance skills.

I do not know how effective this toy actually is. After all, there might be concerns about how well the toy manufacturer created the engine. Also, some children might not like that particular type of toy. Additionally, it is expensive. ($120.) But the idea of having a toy that really teaches useful life-skills for later in life seems like an excellent idea.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
